The Kitty Cafe:

This is where we serve some of the best lattes in town, in addition to pastries & desserts from Des Moines’ own La Mie Bakery. Plus, we have the friendliest employees you’ll ever meet in a fun, but relaxing atmosphere! And should we reach capacity in the Kitty Lounge, we have viewing windows in the cafe for your viewing enjoyment.

The Kitty Lounge:

In here we typically have between 4-20 free roaming kitties at any given time. They consist of our 4 resident kitties, and our guest kitties who are available for adoption. Meaning, they are coming out of tiny cages of the shelter, and waiting to find a forever home while here in our Kitty Lounge!

Our goal:

At The Kitty Cafe, our goal is to provide a fun, but relaxing atmosphere where cats can be watched and played with while patrons drink cafe favorites and snack on delicious bakery goods. The Kitty Lounge includes both resident and adoptable cats being fostered through the ARL of Iowa, that we hope will eventually find their forever homes!
